Getting started

• Set your iPhone on the table and tap the Record button on Home. You can also start from Control Center, the Lock Screen, Siri, or the Action Button.
• The transcript writes itself as people talk. Tap Bookmark to mark a moment, or Note to type one.
• To end the meeting, press and hold Stop. It’s a hold, so a meeting can’t end by accident.
• When the meeting ends, it opens with a summary on top: the key points in the order they came up, including what was decided, what happens next, and what’s still undecided. The full transcript is below it.
• To delete a meeting, swipe it left on Home, or press and hold it.

Pro and the free trial

Recording and transcripts are free and unlimited. On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, your first 3 meetings include summaries, so you can try it first. Pro is $3.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or $59.99 once.

Restore a purchase

In Just Said, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account.

Cancel a subscription

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Just Said Pro. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

Common questions

Why didn’t I get a summary after a meeting?

Summaries need Apple Intelligence. Check that your iPhone supports it and that it’s turned on in Settings. If Apple Intelligence is still setting up, the summary appears once it’s ready. After the 3 included meetings, summaries need Pro. The transcript is always saved either way.

Why is there no transcript?

Transcription runs on your iPhone using Apple’s speech models, which cover many but not all languages. If your iPhone’s language isn’t supported yet, the audio is still recorded. The first time, iOS may also need a moment to download the model.

Does recording continue if my screen locks?

Yes. Recording continues in the background, and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen shows it’s recording. You can add a bookmark from there.

Where are my recordings?

On your iPhone, and in your own iCloud or device backup if you use one. We never receive them. See the privacy policy.

How do I get recording consent?

Tell people when you’re recording and follow the laws where you are. A consent line stays on screen the whole time Just Said records, and you can change its wording in Settings.
